Everybody is looking to make themselves, their cars and houses better, that is why we watch shows like Extreme makeover, Pimp my Ride, etc. People today have an obsession with being someone who they are not. They have to have David Beckham's hairstyle or the same shades as Lindsay Lohan because they believe that this will ENHANCE them but fads come and go and yet people never find the fulfilment that they really need, so they turn to music to find their identity. Sadly though the message that most pop bands sell is a very selfish one, making people concentrated on them only.

However with all the 'plastic pop' around finally there has come a group with a sound and a message that will be sure to enhance the lives of every person that listens to their music but what is their name, quite simply: ENHANCE.

The group, which is made up of Ronald Wienand and Vincent Asher & is based in Durban KZN South Africa, is taking the pop music scene in South Africa and turning it on its head. The group, who are incredible live, are looking to enhance the lives of the youth of South Africa by not selling the "me, me, me" culture but rather the Jesus Christ culture. Ronald and Vincent both have a heart for enriching the lives of young people and love to tell them about how great Jesus Christ is and how he can change their lives. Their music is high energy and keeps the crowds rocking all night long with the message of Jesus' love for them. The band, which started in 2004, is not about being seen on stage but rather letting kids know that they can be there own person in Christ and change the lives of everybody around them. This year they begin Activate 2008, a program where they enter schools and instead of just doing a concert and leaving. They also have the opportunity to teach some of the classes and relate to the kids on their level.

The focus of their lives is Jesus Christ and His unfailing love for us. They always put this message across when talking to kids at schools, which they visit with Activate. What better way is there for the youth of this country to enhance their lives but through Jesus Christ.
